Bio

Aaron Shook is an engaging singer/songwriter, guitarist, entertainer whose music blends uplifting folk/rock and country with heartfelt positive vibes.  His journey began in the bar and night club circuit.  After years of night life and constant travel, he stepped away seeking a more normal lifestyle.  During that time, a personal crisis brought a rebirth of his faith, which lead to a staff position with a national youth ministry.  Over several years, this evolved into his own concert ministry, performing Contemporary Christian music in churches nationwide during the 1990's.  While his faith remains a core inspiration, Aaron's current work focuses on universal themes of hope, resilience, and human connection --often infused with influences of his Arkansas roots and decades living in Texas.

His catalog includes the 1993 album Let It Rain, a collection of Contemporary Christian originals soon to hit digital platforms – and the 2014 six-song EP, Try Again, streaming on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, and more.  Standouts include the tender “I'll Take Care Of Her” (his most streamed track) and his most recent release, the relatable “Common Man.”  Aaron is preparing to release singles from his coming EP, Chasing A Dream, via a strategic rollout with the title track dropping mid-March 2026.

Aaron delivers energetic live shows filled with audience interaction, stories, and humor.  Available for select bookings in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana (with occasional travel for standout opportunities), he prioritizes intimate venues where original material shines.

Residing in Joshua, Texas, with his wife Julie and their two dogs, Aaron is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who channels life's joys and lessons into songs that resonate deeply.
